 It can't be true? It's got to be some sort of scam? Amazingly, it is true, and it's all possible because of the inefficiency of the creaky-old controller and thermostat system used on most heating systems. Apart from maybe having an LCD display and perhaps an RF connection, conventional control systems have not changed in over 30 years or more.
It's likely that your existing control system doesn't monitor the outside temperature, doesn't monitor the boiler water input/output temperatures for maximum efficiency and doesn't really know what time it is! How it works
At the heart of HeatingSave House and Home is a self-learning microprocessor management system that can reduce your heating bills by up to 30 per cent or more by using processes called Automatic Weather Compensation and Variable Thermal Response, normally only found in expensive building management systems.
Once installed, the HeatingSave controller constantly reads the temperature from sensors connected to the flow and return pipe of your boiler, hot water tank and outside your home to learn about the heat loss profile of your house. This is constantly recalculated and refined each day so that HeatingSave can more efficiently use the way in which your central heating system is switched on and off to keep you warm whilst drastically reducing fuel usage and saving you money.
The optional PC Windows Explorer style software enables you to have complete control over your central heating system by entering the heating patterns you require for any particular day and allowing you to see the savings you are making graphically on the PC screen. This HeatingSave House and Home consists of the HeatingSave controller, four temperature probes and a room temperature sensor.
